I can't tell from the two SV manuals how to change the titles of the lines in the maintenance log. I'm not near my plane at the moment so I can't try editing the line names. Does anyone know how to do this?

Enter the Maintenance log in the Setup screen (location shown two posts up). You can edit, remove or add any of them. You will get more familiar with the location as you use the system as you must return to update the values as you might do after completing an oil change for example.

From the touch install manual
SETUP MENU > AIRCRAFT INFORMATION > MAINTENANCE LOG o > LOG ITEM x
▪ > NAME (user-defined text, up to 14 characters)
▪ > TIME BASIS (NONE | DATE | TACH | HOBBS)
▪ > END TIME, HRS (if TACH or HOBBS was selected) or… > END DAY, END MONTH, END YEAR (if DATE was selected)

once you get into the maintenance log, there will be LOG ITEM (number) not text and you can not change this if that is what you are asking.
you can change the NAME with whatever maintenance item you want OIL, TIRES, FILTER, etc.

This is one of the very few features I've not really found particularly useful. Wondering what others' experience with it might be.

Just too much bother to keep updated, and doesn't replace the necessity of keeping aircraft logbooks and records anyway. I keep a spreadsheet on my computer with *everything* that needs any sort of repetitive inspection, replacement, etc., from 50-hour oil changes to 10-year CO detector refurbishment, and everything in between. Much easier to just edit that and print a new one for the wall than to mess with an EFIS...

But, as always, YMMV.

I was sitting in my airplane today and did figure it out, but thanks to all who responded with helpful reminders.
