Hi Dynon,

My engine is not yet running  (Rotax 912), the MAP indication on the EMS 120 is 10,2 inch of mercure. Is that correct ? May be I am wrong but
I think the normal reading should be +or- 29,92 depending on the actual pressure. If I am right, where is the problem ?

Francis.

The MAP should be near 29.92, but it can be quite a bit lower based on your altitude. I'm guessing you're not at 26,000 feet though.

10.2" represents 1.6V. My first guess would be that you just don't have the wire connected from the MAP sensor to the EMS module (or the wrong pin, or a broken wire, etc). 1.6V is probably just a random floating voltage. It doesn't always go to zero or 5V with no wire connected.

You might also not have a good ground on the MAP sensor.
