Just for information, I updated to v11 today, installed all the high reg., low resolution and pocketFMS databases in less than an hour using this sequence:
Uninstall the high res database from EFIS
Uninstall the low res
Uninstall the pocketFMS databases
Install the high res
Install the low res
Install the v11 package update
Install pocket FMS databases.
I used a 16GB USB stick, model dtse9 from Kingston.
The whole process was flawless and quite fast.

took me over 2 hours to get this completed per screen using the Dynon USB stick. I do believe, in this case, with a 2.5G file that a faster USB stick would make a big difference.
My install on both screens was flawless as well.
Still not seeing any real "ahh" with the new version. Actually looks pretty much the same to me, other than a "wide" view.

I do agree. V11 is about the same as 10. But I'm happy as I can set different units in speed and distance fields from now on.

After the first failure I measured the time and it took 1:50 hours on both the Dynon stick and another 8GB stick. Could this be a Skyview thing? Was the processor or electronics updated on later versions of Skyview? I have an early version of Skyview.

Savannah: did you purposely skip the very low database?
