I just installed my Skyview....sensors all seem to work well, except the Manifold Pressure.  With the engine not running, the MAP/INHG display shows 57.1", ---% and PK?  Any ideas what I need to do to fix?

Thanks...Cheers,

This can happen if you've mixed up the A/B/C wires on the MAP sensor connector, so start there.

Thank-you....
So I swapped B & C - same results (57.1", ---% and PK?)
Then I swapped back to my original
Then I swapped A and C and I got an "X" across the MAP display.
So I swapped back to my original connection and I'm back to the same problem.

....next?

57.1" means you have about 5V on the signal wire. "X" means you have about 0V on it. You should have 2.5V when the engine is not running.

You could get your behavior if the ground wire (terminal A) is not hooked to anything. First thing would be to make sure your ground wire is actually grounded.

The ---% and PK? are not important right now. They are % power and LOP/ROP status, and will not show up until in flight.

Thank-you! You hit the problem exactly. I checked my wiring and my ground wire to the Dynon MAP device was broken....fixed it and all is normal.

Thanks for the advice....much appreciated.
