MAP Input

I am installing a Lightspeed Plasma electronic ignition in my RV-9A. One of the outputs from this is Manifold Presure (0.01v/Inch MP), can this be used to drive the EMS-10 rather than installing the supplied MAP sensor?

The Lightspeed output will not work. We only support the MAP sensor we supply and the Grand Rapids MP sensor.

0.01V / inch is really low. I wonder why they went with such a weak signal? The sensors we use are about 0.1V / inch.
