Map scale

I was showing my wife some features of skyview. We had uploaded a flight plan from KHWY to KOSH. I panned to the Oshkosh area and found I could not zoom in or out. Works fine at present position either centered on acft or panned close by. Is this a bug or feature

Ralph,
You can zoom wherever you are. However, what you likely did was select something with the cursor (airspace, airport, etc) and now the rotate is choosing what is selected. Bump the stick any direction and then you can zoom.

On touchscreen the +/- buttons always work, as does pinch to zoom, even when something is selected.
