I am about to install my MAP sensor as part of my Skyview system on a IO 540 (RV10). Can you please tell me what type of 1/4 inch tube I should be using and the best place to connect the tube?

Typically on an RV you would connect the MAP sensor tube to #5.

Here is one option:
I believe a straight AN816-4D fitting works best with the Vans baffle kit's dimensions. To that you can connect the steel-braid armoured hose that Vans sells for something petty like $17, P/N VA-119 I believe.

From there, you are best to connect the hose to a bulkhead AN fitting of your choice, and pass through the firewall. I suggest AN807-4D hose adapter.

That allows you to mount the transducer inside the cabin behind the instrument panel somewhere, and connect it to the pressure line with soft flexible 1/4" hose of your choice.  This has the added advantages of keeping the transducer away from the heat, dirt/oil, and generally harsher conditions inside the cowling.

If you are feeling cheap and nasty, you could replace the AN816 fitting in #5 with a pipe nozzle, and run soft 1/4" tube straight from the cylinder to the gauge, mounted on the engine side of the firewall - but I would not recommend it.
