Hi again.
Whilst flying along today, I had cause to mark a point on my GPS - just something I saw - I pushed a button and hey presto, the position was marked for all time and I can go back to it any time I choose. I would like to be able to do this direct into the mapping page in the Skyview.
I have just gone on to make user waypoints using Google Earth. I made the files OK and put them on a stick but oh guys, there has to be a better way. Lets face it, simplicity is King, particularly when flight planning for a visit to another country in Europe. A pilot has enough to do without spending time on a computer to make files to put into the Skyview. We have many many unlicensed farm strips and airfields over here, and it would make life a lot easier if we could just input co-ordinates to the Skyview to make user waypoints.
Will this be possible in the new Nav/Mapping module?
regards
Trevor
