Hi
We've just replaced the mechanical fuel pump on our Rotax 912ULS for the latest spec pump in accordance with Rotax Service Bulletin SB-912-063UL R1.
According to the Rotax Operators Manual, the max fuel pressure with this pump (pump serial number 11.0036 and on) has increased to 7.26 psi (0.5 bar).
The previous pump maximum pressure was 5.8 psi (0.8 bar).
The minimum pressure remains the same at 2.2 psi (0.15 bar).
On the first flight with the new pump the high pressure fuel alarm started sounding when on final approach, idle power.
Can we change the max fuel pressure setting manually despite the SkyViews being configured to run on the Dynon Rotax settings or will this confuse the whole set up?
Perhaps you could take the new pump figures into a future software update?
