Is there any chance that the DSAB will ever allow for EFIS data to be logged into memory on the EMS D10????

The next software release will support logging of EFIS data which will be stored inside the EFIS. It will not be stored in the EMS. It will also store GPS lat, long, time, speed, and track.

Will there be a possibility of software that will convert this data set into a .kml Google Earth file that one could view the flight path/attitude info on google earth like the one of the other EFIS products does? (I think it was Grand Rapids???)

http://www.rvproject.gen.nz/grt/index.html is the example

We don't have any plans to write a program like that at this time, but we document all of our output, so someone could write a program to convert it, just like someone did for GRT.

I'll also note that most GPS units that people connect to our products, such as the Garmin x96 and the Lowrance handhelds, can already have their tracks converted to kml via tools like www.gpsbabel.org. So you may already have the functionality you're looking for if you pull the tracks off your GPS.
