Message/alert acknowledgment

I have installed a backup battery for my Skyview HDX display. However, because the battery is not fully charged, I keep receiving an alert/warning/message about the issue. My problem is, even reading the alert, I keep getting the audio message over and over. My workaround was to disable the audio alerts (which I like to have on) because I couldn't find a way to stop (acknowledge) the battery issue.

Is there a way to "accept/disregard" a notification?

Unfortunately, no, unless you send alerts to a muted input on an audio panel. Then you can mute the audio there. That mutes all alerts though. Or you could charge the battery. :)

Or as suggested in the manual connect a battery charger to your aircraft battery turn on the master switch and leave the Skyview running. It works for me. Just make sure the battery charger produces more amps than the Skyview uses.

Just a data point here -that doesn't always work.
