Okay, while I'm on a roll here there is something else Dynon can do.....This is a million dollar idea and I was saving it for myself but it looks like you have the horsepower to get it to the market much sooner than I ever could so here goes. You need to make a non-tso'd Universal Access Transceiver Here is why: the only UAT currently available is a Garmin GDL -90. It is tso'd and get this it costs over $8000.00 !!!! before installation. Just recently the entire Eastern Seaboard and a big piece of Alaska became contiously covered by ADS-B. The good news is that ADS-B (at least for the current time) is totally FREE . The bad news you got to buy a UAT and the only game in town is Garmin. :-/ If you could offer something for HALF as much or maybe even cheaper you could capture the experimental and LSA market !!! A non-tso'd broadband datalink that operates on 978 MHz and is capable of data transmission rates in the neighborhood of one megabit per second or better CAN'T possibly cost $8000.00 !!!!
Dynon has become what is because you do what the other guys do but you do it smarter and cheaper and this is another area that you really need to look into. Plus I'll only ask for 10% of all profits on this idea...I know...what a prince I am
