Missing airport?

Today, while returning from SBP (San Luis Obispo) to Whiteman (WHP) via the following route:
GVO-SBA-WHP
which took me right over Santa Ynez (KIZA), the map didn't show IZA at all...it did show a couple of private fields (0CA3 and 0CA4), but IZA was nowhere to be seen at any zoom level.

Possible bug? I know the airport was there (I could see it :) ) but it wasn't on the map...hmmm....

Well, an interesting thing to do would be to press NRST to see if it was in that list, or to even go into INFO and see if you can spin it in manually.

We'll take a look at a unit ourselves when we're back in the office on Monday.

Any idea what version of the software and database you are running?

It was in the nearest list, and this is the latest version of the software and a current database.

We DID see it on the way up earlier in the day...so I think it's in the DB correctly, etc.

Well, given you see it in the nearest list, you see it in info, and you saw it on the screen before, we'll just have to call ourselves stumped. We tried it here and can't reproduce it, and we don't have any other customer reports of temporary disappearing airports.

If you ever see it again and have a USB stick with you, you can press buttons 2 and 7 at the same time and it will save the image to the USB stick so we can look at it.

Roger that...it's close enough that I'll give it a try again this weekend (and will watch for it, or similar instances) and grab some screenshots (I've been flying with a stick connected pretty much all the time now).

It was definitely missing, at all zoom levels on the map...weird. Will keep you advised!
