Missing incoming transmission

A few times now we have missed incoming transmissions, other radios nearby have received them. Have checked all the connections and plugs.
It's a SV system, HDX1100 etc. including a SV-COM-T8 with Advanced ACM in an RV7. The radio software ver. is 1.10. Would an update to the latest 1.12
sort this?

Unlikely. What you report is most often an antenna system issue. And by system, I mean the cabling and connections too. Could also be a radio problem, but antenna is more likely, and usually much simpler and cheaper to fix.

Sent the com box to Trig in Edinburgh. They checked it and updated the firmware. Very quick turn around. It's back in place some months now
and we consider it fixed. Hooray!
