My aircraft has two VFE speeds (95 KIAS flaps 0 to 20, 87 KIAS flaps 20 to 40). By convention the white band would be set to the lower VFE, however the flap overspeed audio would need to be set to the higher VFE. There does not seem to be a way to set multiple VFE speeds according to defined flap position indications?
Whilst the white band on the ASI is conventional for light aircraft, an alternative would be to dynamically bring down the red line speed to the appropriate VFE according to flap position when the flaps are deployed (this is what Boeing do)
Any chance of multiple VFE support in a future software release?
