I have the original Skyview 10" system (not the HDX) and was trying for the life of me to find out where to enter frequency for VOR navigating. Is this not able to be done using the Skyviews? I can only find a spot to enter airport identifiers not frequencies of a VOR. Thanks in advance.

Maybe I don’t understand what you are after, but the nav frequency has to be entered on the nav receiverthe that is providing the deviation data. Skyview doesn’t have a built in nav receiver.

Additionally, after the frequency is entered on the VOR/Nav receiver, then the "Source" must be selected via Skyview panel button.

There is another way.
If you have a GPS device for IFR, you will have the VOR stations in the GPS memory.
For example, KLN90B, which has the stations already recorded with coordinates.
Although you are not tuned to VOR / NAV frequency, depending on the accuracy of the GPS device, you would do the same thing.
Just wouldn't have the Glade Slop.
