Will the upcoming NavMap software include the ability to "customize" the Skyview by selecting or de-selecting certain features, such as airways or not,  airports or not, airspace or not, etc? The intent would be to de-clutter the screen at the user's will, just as the screen is now automatically uncluttered with increasing ranges.

A certain other make of EFIS, now defunct also had the ability to put a "Virtual VOR" pretty near anywhere and gave you the ability to go there on a Virtual Radial - very handy when doing vertical navigation to your home strip in fact you could almost do an ILS practise.

So there are lots of "little" features like thees that we've got in the hopper to implement at some point, so the answer to "will your map do X" is usually yes, though the question of when is harder to answer. Just know that our goal is to make the Navigation Mapping Software module in SkyView a real replacement for the portable you might otherwise install in the panel. So most of the features in those devices are capabilities that we'll add at some point.

The next map update will allow the user to choose what map items to display.
