I am building an RV7A tip-up. The wings are finished with AFS AOA installed and Gretz heated pitot. I have not purchased the AOA display. I have installed TruTrak servos and have the ADI Pilot II ready to install. Originally I had planned on purchasing/installing AFS 3500. Now that I am sold on the Skyview, what do you recommend regarding my Tru-Trak and should I consider replacing the AOA and pitot?

Re: Need advice regardin switching from AFS to Sky

So, the bottom line is that our AP can only drive our servos, and our AOA display can only use our AOA pitot (though the two systems both use pressure, they measure different pressure relationships). So if you're going SkyView, and want AOA, you'll want to pick up our heated AOA pitot probe and a pair of Dynon AP servos. New stuff in this market holds its value pretty well in this market, so you should be able to get convert without too much of a penalty. Good luck, and thanks for choosing SkyView!
