The ethernet connection is only used to sync the obstacle and aviation databases between two Dynon displays, nothing else travels over this link. When the Dynon system reports a network system error it usually refers to the redundant Dynon network (8/9 wires and 9 pin D-connectors) that connects the basic units of the Dynon system (Displays, EMS, ADAHRS, possible additional buttons and the Autopilot servo's). The network connection to the Autopilot servo's is special in that these include separate power wiring and the autopilot disconnect line.
