New D10A Failed right out of box 2 times

I am helping my friend install a D10A. This was an upgrade from a D10. Performed the Magnetometer EDC wiring change. Before I even plugged it into the aircraft I installed the battery and powered it from internal battery. The Dynon logo comes up and immediately powers off. I thought the internal battery was dead. So I plugged it into the aircraft power and it the Dynon logo appears and powers off / on / off / on / off / on. Cycles on/off until power is removed. I tried it with and without the battery installed. This is the second "Out of Box" failure of this brand new D10A. It has never worked.
What could be wrong???

I have the same problem with my D10A.
What can I do? I live in Russia.
