I have bought a plane with a D-180 that has been sitting for 2 years. It was initially installed around 2007 I do not take delivery for another few weeks so have nothing to look at and play with till then except this forum.
How can I immediately find the firmware status, once I have the hardware? I strongly suspect it is overdue for upgrade. And do I need to go back and install each upgrade or can I become up to date just by loading 5.5? thanks

I have a Rotax 914 going in a Searey and ordered the matronics Fuelchec with transducer and purchased your transducer for second transducer- I now realize that they are different transducers - yours and theirs is a 201b- can I use theirs and yours or do I have to send one back. Can't get a response from Matronics yet

They'll work together - you'll just need to make sure the K-factors for each are set correctly (which is usually 68000 for the redcube, and closer to 30000 (set per the tag) for the 201b.

So to clarify - if you're using two fuel flow sensors with SkyView, you can input their different K-factors individually.

On re-reading this, it sounds like you're using the Matronics so that you can get differential fuel flows into a D180, D10, or D120. In that case, I think you'll need to use two of the same fuel flow sensors, as I don't think you can set the K-factors individually on the fuelcheck.
