Excellent product!! I ordered a D100 at Sun-N-Fun from Aircraft Spuce on 4/17. They are giving me a ship date (from Dynon) of 7/3. Is that accurate?? Also, I was interested in purchasing a D120 also but since I have a Velocity (engine in rear), the standard harness isn't long enough. Is there an option for a longer harness?? Thank you Tom/Fort Myers

Tom,

All of our products are backordered 10-12 weeks from date of purchase, so that's a pretty accurate estimate. We're doing our absolute best to ship stuff faster than that, but we're just totally flooded with orders. We are shipping product every day.

We don't sell a longer harness directly, but our harnesses are currently made for us by steinair. If you call them direct, they can make a custom length harness for you at a very reasonable price.

general question

Just found out about this forum and first time on.  Have not ordered my Dynon instruments yet but am realizing that should soon.  I am going to Texas in three weeks to build my 180 HP 4 cylinder fuel injected  engine at the Superior Air Parts builder school.   Now in regard to the EMS are there special things(sensors, placement of sensors, etc) that we should know about or rather Superior Air Part  people should or would be good to know about before  building the engine?  I mean to  e-mail them on this topic as well.  Has Dynon worked with engine building schools?  There must be a benifit to knowing where  these sensors are placed before  building the engine.  I think I would like to know that.  Anyone out there with suggestions.

As far as configuring an EMS goes, Superior = Lycoming. All of the sensors and fittings are the same.
