When flying our recently completed RV-12 E-LSA with standard SkyView components, a friend in his similarly equipped RV-12 aircraft sees my traffic target, but no N number. Meanwhile I see his target and N number. Both of us see other targets with N numbers displayed.
My -12 has SV 14.2.1 installed. The transponder has version 2.09 installed. The GPS is SV-250. The FAA ADS-B report shows NIC=6.0, SIL=1.0, SDA=1.0 with all other parameters okay. I receive ADS-B traffic so presumably I am in the ADS-B system.
When I access Flightradar24.com to check my ADS-B OUT tracks, our -12 N43SQ is not found in their database. So is my problem our equipment or is the airplane, which was registered five months ago, not in a ADS-B database of some sort?
