No oil pressure signal

After winter storage, when I was starting up I had no oil pressure signal.

On skyview is only a red cross over the instrument.

Oile sensor Rotax P / N 456180. Is this the latest sensor?
Is it right that this has only have 2 lines. Power and signal. No wire to ground. Ground comes from metal on the engine. Is this correct?

We tried to put ground on the connector to EMS and then we could see the number 4090 (on picture) changes. So then we know that there is a signal from the oil connector to skyview / EMS.

I have not checked the red wire from Skyview / EMS actually provide 12V and signal provides 0-0.5 V. This I will check tomorrow.
If the wires from EMS delivers the correct voltage there must be something wrong with the oil pressure sensor.

Is there a procedure to check whether oile sensor Rotax P / N 456180 actually working properly?

So if it was working before, this is pretty odd. It looks like that pin was unselected in the EMS sensor input mapping menu at some point (which can't, to my knowledge, happen by itself). So first let's fix that. Go to SETUP MENU > EMS SETUP > SENSOR INPUT MAPPING and on pin 6, choose pressure, the correct sensor (it's obviously named w/ the Rotax part number), and then OIL in the right most column. And then hit save. Does that fix things?

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Yes I've tried that. I save on Rotax P / N 456180, but it will not save this. When I go into and in again, I can see it have not been saved.
Why will it not save the right sensor?
I have also checked that there is powver to the sensor. Red wire provides 12V and signal provides 0.5V.
Ground comes from motor.
What can be wrong? Can it be a ground problem on skyview?

Are you selecting values for all of the columns? When you hit save, do you get any kind of a prompt? Try saving, then exiting setup, then re-entering setup. Does that change anything? If not, give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com. We have a procedure that should fix this issue of settings not saving correctly.

Hi, after loading prosedure for not saving correct etc, I still have problems with sensor. I send you a mail. Hopfully you recived it.
If not take a look at this video: https://we.tl/cjOLWu15v7

Another question:
I can not get my fuelpressure to work right. Its a Kavlico 50 PSI fuel pressure sensor.
My engine is a 912 S that have been modify with Injection. (Injection is not from Rotax)
Fuelpressure is correct wiring with pin8, but its not connected to any Manifoil pressure. Is there any way I can manually configurate this fuelpressure?

I can fly witout fuelpressure, but NOT oilpressure. This I just need to fix.
PS I have also bought a brand new Oilpressure sensor, so its notting wrong with the sensor.

When you changed the sensor type, you didn't give it a name. It warned you as you exited that the entry was incomplete and you keep saying yes.

After you chose ROTAX as the type, you need to go to the right and select the name "OIL".

Hi
I have done that, and sensor is now showing right sensor type.
But there is no signal. It show constant 3 bar. seepicture
Even if I disconnect the contact it show 3 bar.
Is there any way to reset/restart this sensor debugging?
I have also changed to a brand new sensor. I have check that wiring is going from right pin to contact.
Also mesure the V in wiring, 12V on red and 0,5V on signal. Ground is coming from the motor.
What is next step?

Oil (& Fuel Pressure) sensors use Pin 18 (5 volts) to the red wire of the sensor - it's all in the Install Manual, please read it caefully ;)

Hi, Thanks for suggestions.

But this thime i have read carfully. And Iam right.
Rotax P/N 456180 use Pin 15 (12 volts)
http://screencast.com/t/m2HvsrPuZ

But take a look at the picture, it does not make sence. RPM, MP etc.

When i push on warning it says Demo mode, can all the problem be that it hva been running in demo mode?
I cant find any info about getting it out of Demo mode. It also come up with transponder, but I have not connected with any transponder.

After Building a v14.2.1 re-imaging stick, is there any possible to restor to old data?
And how to get out of Demo mode?

You should not see demo mode on your display, and this actually explains what you're seeing.

Demo mode is something that you need very specific files to load that we do not distribute (it is not a menu-configurable option), and it should never be on an airworthy airplane. The MAP, Tach, and other engine readings are showing static pre-programmed demo values. So right now, your actual sensors are being ignored. What is really strange is that it sounds like this airplane was previously flying before the winter? Was it? If not, was this display or aircraft ever part of an aircraft manufacturers' marketing demonstration? Has this aircraft been previously flown?

Please send our technical support team an email at support at dynonavionics dot com with a link to this thread. We'll send you files that will turn off demo mode.

One other thing: do you have any settings backups from recent software upgrades available? They're automatically saved to a folder on the USB memory stick you use for upgrade. They may be helpful in restoring settings if everything was previously working properly.
