no splash screen on hdx 10

on boot up screen is black for about 15 -20 seconds then text lines appear with no splash screen at all. have just has two hdx 10 inch screens installed and both the same. its annoying because you don't know if it has turned on or not, why don't the splash screens come up.

Apparently they changed the boot procedure - my older screens boot up with the usual splash screen, but one that I bought just last month does not, it acts like you describe. Personally I liked the old way better.

I would ask the origin of the Dynon firmware. Some sellers, primarily Vans, modify the original Dynon firmware, to include their own splash screen. If your firmware had a similar origin, there may be a problem like that. Additionally, there have been instances where the firmware is simply unable to access the image for the splash screen, so that could also be what you're seeing. If I were you, I'd send this question to Dynon.
