Can anyone supply a starting-point value for each of these settings?
I have O-320, 160HP, 2 Slick mags, carbureted.
I have a Vans RV9A.

I believe the default settings are probably ok for starters.  Just configure your max RPM and horsepower according to the installation manual.

While there is some small amount of variance between different Lycoming / Continental motors, it is pretty much splitting hairs.  Temps, % power calculations are pretty much identical.  Only thing that might need special calibration is fuel tank capacity and calibration; fuel flow readings, and any other reading which might call for "calibration."

EDIT: Just realized this is the EFIS section not EMS. Engine shouldn't matter at all for EFIS settings...

Note that the default EMS settings are not designed to be baselines for any particular engine. Every setting should be individually set.
