Hello,
The OAT installed in the plane is a 4 wire type. Red,Yellow,Blue,White.
I have an error message "OAT not found".
- The blue/shield is connected to pin 1 sharing the white of the harness going to the D100.
- The Yellow is at pin 2.
- The red is at pin 7.
-Now, what to do with the white wire coming out of the OAT probe, actually this white wire is connected also with the blue/shield and the white of the harness. Is that correct ?
Next question, what to set in the D100 menu, N 1 or 2 ?
Actually set to 1.
Tks for your help and patience.

Let's start with the oddest thing - we do not make a 4 wire OAT probe. Is it ours, or perhaps another manufacturer's?

Tks Dynon support,
Next Friday I will check again the probe wiring, but I am sure that I have 4 wires going out of the probe. The 4 wires are first connected to a 4 pin's male female connector before going to the DB 9 connector. I don't now why they cut the wire before going to the DB 9. I suspect also that the shield of the blue was also cut and not reconnected properly. Probably as you say the probe is not a Dynon product, I don't now but i will investigate with DynAero in France where is the mistake. :-/
For the rest the D100 work perfectly coupled with a GM 296 gps. :D

If you snap a picture of the OAT and email it to support@dynonavionics.com (or post it here), we can tell you fairly instantaneously whether it's one of ours or not.
