Hello
We have dual ADHARS and two OAT probes. Only one came with the pins along with the plastic plug. Where could I find a plug and two pins for the second OAT so I can plug it into the ADAHR?

Ron,
This is two SkyView ADAHRS units? Were the OAT's both in the boxes with the AHDARS units? The missing one doesn't even have pins already on the wires? Was this a direct shipmenent from us or via a distributor?

We can get you pins and a plug sent out right away, I just want to figure out the problem so we can figure out how it happened here. Send us your mailing address via PM or at support at dynonavionics.com so we can get them out.

Now that I think of it one was, and the other was included with the EMS wiring harness that came with the original plan to install a D-180. The D-180 was returned but the harnesses were kept. I'll need pins and a plug. I'll send you the mailing address. I purchased these from ACS.
Thanks Ron

Ron,
Each ADAHRS should come with a OAT with pins. Older products didn't use the pins. So if you used a D180 OAT it would be expected to not have pins, but it would also be expected that both of your ADAHRS units would come with OAT probes.

So it sounds like you are missing an OAT from one of your ADAHRS boxes, is this true?

I'll have to look into the boxes again. The original probe we mounted had three wires. I cannot remember if we purchased it seperatly so as it could be installed during wing construction, or if it's the unit that came with the EMS harnesses? Would the EMS (D-180) OAT probe have two or three wires? The two probes now installed look identical other than the pins or rather lack of. I do recall that one has Skyview marked on the packaging and the other was labeled EMS OAT. I'll look first chance I get.

Three wire probes are for the EFIS side of things and hook to an EDC. Two wire probes with no pins are for EMS. The D180 can use either.

Two wire probes with pins and a plastic plug are for SkyView.

Just went out to the hangar and sure enough , it was in a box I must have missed. My bad, sorry. Now I have four OAT probes, shouldn't run out for a while!

Just another thought. Can I leave the two wire OAT probe that came without pins and plastic plug that I have installed into the wing and just rob the plug from the one I just found in one of the ADAHR boxes?
