Tried the search function with zero results for some reason.
I have the D1OA and D10 EMS. Have a probe, part number ending in 0. Seems it has to be connected to the EMS or the remote compass. If the EFIS and EMS are connected, and I wire it to the EMS will I get TAS on my EFIS? Have been reading and searching all morning and can't seem to understand the two part numbers and what happens with the two different installations.
Thanks again!

P/N 100433-000 (two white/black wires) can be connected only to EMS-D10, EMS-D120, or EMS side of a FlightDEK-D180.

P/N 100433-001 (stiff white shielded cable) can be connected to either the EDC-D10A remote magnetometer or an EMS-D10, EMS-D120, or EMS side of a FlightDEK-D180.

If you connect to the EMS, and the EMS is communicating with the EFIS, then yes, you'll be able to display TAS.

The trick with the OAT connected to the EMS is to configure the EMS correctly (one of the General Purpose Inputs will be configured for OAT) AND configure the EFIS correctly (SETUP > OAT > INSTALLED: N).

Tried the search function with zero results for some reason.

Thank you!
How do I verify the two D-10s are talking to each other?

On the EFIS-D10A, SETUP > DSAB > STATUS > SEL (button) - what does the status say about network devices?

Thank you!

It said it was not configured.  I followed the instructions and configured it and it now says, I guess, it is configured with itself.  Still no recognizing the EMS. I know I ran two DSAB wires between them on the installation of the EMS long after the EFIS.... :-/
EMS configure screen says to use the EFIS.... :-[

??

You're basically doing the right things there. Either the DSAB wires aren't truly making it from connector to connector, or there's a problem with either the EFIS or EMS. To check the former, unplug the D37 off the EMS and the D25 off the EFIS and do a continuity check at the pins.

OK, checked the pins, correct wires to each and from each. All check out. Tried configuring again, following the book, and still says "Standalone".....? :'(

So that may indicate a problem with one of the DSAB transceiver chips. Figuring out which product it is though is basically impossible if you only have two DSAB devices. Give our support team a call or email at 425-402-0433 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com. We'll ultimately need to have things here to help you figure out what's going on.

Thank you. I'll do that. The EMS was just in to you a few months ago for another issue. Sure hate to be grounded again.....
