OAT with D180

Hi Dynonsupport

I've an OAT probe connect to the EFIS part of the D180 (thru EDC cable).
Is it possible to get the information of this probe thru the datalogging issued by the EMS part of the D180 ? In other word, is there any communication between the EFIS and the EMS in the D180 ?

Alternatively, is it possible to connect the probe to both entrance EFIS and EMS ( GP 1 to 3)

In Version 5.0 and newer software, the EFIS datalogs as well, so you can get it there.

If you don't wish to do this, you'll need to move the OAT to the EMS. You can't have it hooked to the EMS and EDC at the same time, but if you hook it to an EMS GP input, it will share it over to the EFIS.

The first option could have been OK for me but it's not available on external datalog ( I record both EFIS and EMS ) .Too bad !  

I probably use the second option .

All of these is to get the TAS instead of CAS  (a previous post I did  on this forum) . If you have other solution to get this data in external logging  ...
