Hi
I have just got my D10A together with external compass and temp probe.
When I first tested the probe and the temperature I set the temp to +20 degrees C and it all seemed to worked out well. I then downloaded the latest version  02. 08 and then suddenly I cant get the right temp any longer. Its now – 29 degrees and – 5400 feet in my room.
How can I adjust this to be the correct values.
There is also some new windows that I cant find in the guide.
OAT:
Installed:N
Installed:Y

ALTENC:
FRMAT: 1, 2, 3, 4, NONE,     RES:10FT, 100FT
Can anyone give some advise and explanation??

Peter,
The new menus you see are:

OAT (Y/N): This tells the EFIS if you have an OAT probe installed. In your case, set this to "Y". If you set this to no, it lets you set the OAT yourself so we can still calculate TAS and DA. It will do this even if it finds an OAT probe. It sounds like you have this set to "N," and the EFIS is expecting you to manually input the temperature. You can easily tell if the OAT is in automatic or manual mode- in manual mode, a box is drawn around the OAT display. In automatic mode, no box is drawn.

ALTENC:
This allows you to set up the altitude encoder serial output on the D10A. If you have a transponder that uses a serial input for the blind encoder, this is where you set this up.

It sounds like you have a very early D10A that used to have old software on it, and thus you have an older manual. You can always download the latest manual for the D10A here:
