Obstacle Database v2.5

I noticed that some (many) of the towers around CYXE show up on the Skyview display. However we don't have any zones or airports. Just a few navigation points (VOR's etc.) which was expected as the navigation infomation is only available near the US border.

I realize that the obstacle database is different then the navigation database. What is the coverage for the obstacle database (worldwide?)and will it continue to be a free update when the Jeppesen database is released.

What you see now is what you will get in the future for the free US data. (Future software updates will have more features, but the same basic database.)

The obstacle database is not world-wide, just US and nearby. The Jeppesen data will have world-wide obstacles.
