Oil pressure indication with engine off

I am just in the final assembly stages of my RV-8.

While confirming operation of my Skyview I noticed that it is showing an 88 psi oil pressure.  The engine does not even have oil in it yet...  Also noticed later that my fuel pressure is also indicating a reading.... Other things, temperatures etc seem to indicate what one would expect to see.

It seems like it could be:
- faulty sensor(s)?
- calibrations I've missed?
- wiring errors?

Any idea what's up?

Regards

Ron

So first, which oil pressure do you have connected? Is it the VDO style (silver bell looking thing) or the newer Kavlico (gold short/stubby thing)?

Also, under the EMS SETUP > SENSOR INPUT MAPPING, what does the oil pressure sensor row look like (typically this is connected at C37P7)?

The kit that I purchased contained Kavlico sensors for a Lycoming O-360.  I did not note the numbers on the sensors before I installed them.

Both oil and fuel pressure sensors were affected.

This was the mapping that was giving problems...

Today I guessed and changed to the mapping below which gave me zero readings.  I am still uncertain however that these are the right sensors as the numbers I was able to see on the sensors do not match any of the selections.  Unfortunately I left the sensor numbers at the hangar...

This is the mapping I tried below, not that clear unfortunately.  The oil was set to Kavlico 150psi (101693-000) and the fuel to Kavlico 50psi (101716-000).  Am I close?

If it's an O-360 (carbureted), then oil pressure would be 150psi (101693-000) and the pressure would be the 15psi (101690-000).
