I am using a new type oil pressure sensor (Rotax 2 wire) and I have a couple of questions.
I wired it, but I haven´t found a 200 ohm resistor, only a standar 220 ohm. Are there any problem ?
The red wire I connected it to pin 15, but there was another wire. Any problem?

Regards

If you do not use a 200 ohm resistor, you will have errors in your reading. Since a 220 ohm is about 10% greater than 200, all your readings will be off by about 10%.

What color were your other wires? We just want to make sure that you are using the sensor we expect, since the one we tested with had only two wires.

Polar - if you cannot find the 200 ohm resistor you need, and you can handle the idea of a small amount of error, I suggest you use 4 resistors in series of 49 ohms value (a common resistor value, easy to find), this will give you 196 ohms and a 2% errror, as versus 220 ohms with a 10% error.

Unfortunately, 47 ohms is the common one, not 49.

A better solution might be a 220 in parallel with a 2200 (2.2k). Both are common values and this combo gives you exactly 200 ohms.
