We have an RV10 that's showing an approx 8 deg C higher than actual (checked with a calibrated gauge) right through the range.

Aircraft has 2 x engine ground straps and a separate ground from the aft battery to eliminate any possible audio or sender issues - so it's more likely grounding isn't an issue - is there a method of changing the setup in the D120 or other things we can do to fix the error ?

There's no adjustment for this, but what firmware is on your D120? We had an oil temp problem with some old firmware, and that may be your problem. What you describe sounds just like it.

Will check it out - was aware of the problem in an earlier version reading approx 20 degree too high.  Fairly sure we downloaded 4.0 however.
