I have standard Lycoming 6 cyl fuel injected EMS sensors on an IO-540. All connected sensors are displaying correctly except the oil temp when EMS screen is on 50 percent layout.
In other words, for 20 percent and 100 percent layout the oil temp display is normal and correct.
On the 50 percent display, it shows red X and no temp, even though the needle display moves when heat is applied to the sensor.  :'(
I tried deleting the oil temp sensor display from the 50 percent layout and then adding it back. Still does the same. I have dual D1000, with dual ADAHRS, dual stdby batteries, VPX power system.

Odd. I'd start by going to the 50 percent layout editor, selecting the X'd out widgt, removing it, and then re-adding it. Are you using one of our starting configurations, or has the configuration been changed much by hand already?

That is what I tried to fix it. As far as I know the display is your starting configuration. The system was at firmware 4.01 when wired by Aerotronics, and all I have done besides connecting up the EMS and airframe connections is to upgrade firmware to 5.0, then 6.0 to 7.0.

Is there a chance that there are two oil temperature widgets available in your list? This would only be true if two pins were configured, though. If not, do a settings export, then send both the .dfg and .sfg to support at dynonavionics dot com with a link to this thread so we can take a look at your setup.

Your question about a second oil temp was right on the money. I found down at the very bottom of the scroll list an oil temp (can) activated. Turned that off and everything displayed correctly. Don't know how that got there or what it is, but turning it off did the trick. Thank you!
