I have instaled an D180 efis on a plane who uses an old KING KNS-81 VOR, there is any chance of this VOR be incompatible with the efis?
What happens is that when I turn on the VOR, the HSI shows nav source as LOC (instead VOR) and points to a wrong course
I belive that the wiring is correct because the d180 at least is showing something on the HSI (LOC instead VOR).
I belive that the malfunction is just incompatibility or even just a broken VOR, but there is another problem that could be happening in the D180?
