While doing some prop testing I had an interesting experience. At top speed while trying to stabilize altitude, max RPM and mixture my D10 EMS started blinking off and on. Would just go to Red Letter Screen, blank then back on. Did this several times. When I slowed down it stopped doing it and stayed on the rest of the trip. Checked all wires and connections tight.
What's it doing? Anybody else have this happen? How could it be tied to either speed or RPMS, or....?

That sounds suspiciously like vibration and a loose connection (power or ground) somewhere. Did you happen to see the bus voltage when this was happening?

We concur with airguy - it does sound like the power connection is being driven intermittent by the vibration. Alternately, some component in the EMS-D10 is being vibrated to the point where power is being interrupted.

I'll look at the voltage if it happens again. All connections are tight and solid as far as I can tell....
There was no apparent vibration, in fact, this is the smoothest prop I've had.
