I finished installing my D180 and fired it up.  Cylinder 1 doesn't display the same temperature as the other five cylinders.  The other 5 read about 65 degrees, which is amient temperature, but Cylinder 1 fluctuates between -99 all the way up to over 600 degrees.  It seems to move very slowly.

I re-terminated the connections and found no change.

Any suggestions?

Phil, short the wires for cyl one. It should read room temp with them shorted. If it does, it's the sender or a wiring problem. If it doesn't, make sure the two wires are making it back to the D180 for sure, and if you are still having the problem, it might be the D180.

You could also try swapping another cylinder's sensor with #1 and see if it follows the sender or not.
