Optional matte overlay?

It's not installed yet but I'll be using the HDX in an open-cockpit aircraft. I saw a video recently that mentioned an upcoming matte screen overlay. Can you give us more details on it?

We're looking into it, and initial tests have been encouraging. There are different available finishes and optical properties, and we want to make sure the optics hold up, so nothing for sure yet. But it wouldn't be too dissimilar from the kind you can buy for your phone/tablet/laptop. They'd be chosen more for their optical properties than being crystal clear/protector. To be clear, we're less likely to offer a version that has a natively matte screen (IE, a different HDX model).
