I have a D-100 installed with an outside temperature probe. This probe reads quite a bit too high and I am looking for a way to recalibrate or correct this issue. Could the probe be faulty? Any ideas?

The probe that comes with the EFIS-D100 is a "type 2" probe, and the EFIS should be set accordingly. If the EFIS-D100 is instead set to type 1, you would see some odd temperature readings.

I am still having problems with my oat probe. The d-100 is set for type 2 probe and the probe is reading too high.
Is there a calibration procedure for this probe?

How off is the reading? Note that you can adjust +- 10 degrees in the SETUP|OAT menu.
