Overtemperature

Our RV6 sat out in the sun for several hours.  Blue sky, things got hot with the canopy closed.  During power up for the trip home, the D10 showed black and white with an overtemperature warning.  What temp does this activate, and what could be compromised?  The unit still provided all parameters.

Bob,
This overtemperature warning occurs at about 50 degrees C, or about 125 degrees F. If you go over this temperature no real long term harm occurs to the unit, but you are now operating outside of our calibration area, so we warn you that the various readings on the EFIS may not be as accurate as they usually are.
