Hi Guys

I called your tech guys the other day and asked if the 10" skyview in PFD mode would display engine instruments. The answer was 1/2 of the screen in a vertical mode could display all parameters plus your ADI.

I have a more refined question. Can I run a pure PFD with SV and have some key abbreviated data on a bottom horizontal strip? MP, RPM, oil pressure come to mind. Just a couple, not everything. Thus I could stay in PFD SV and have engine awareness.

I have run my BMA E1G2 one side is engine stuff, left side is ADI/HSI for years and have grown not fond of it.

Howard,
The SkyView cannot do what you are asking for currently. There is a possibility that we will do an 80% PFD / 20% EMS in the future, but it will be left/right, not top/bottom. All of our PFD screens are laid out to have full vertical use of the screen, and since our screen is wider than it is tall, this just makes sense.

All of our EMS screens are customizable, so you can display whatever you want on them.

Even in the 50/50 screen, you still have full SynVis and all other elements on the PFD.

The 80/20 Left PFD, right EMS would be ideal! Please know I say this from experience, not speculation. It would be a real plus. Thanks for considering it.

Howard,
It turns out we already have the 80/20 screens, so you will be able to use this right away. You can put the EMS on the left or the right.

I apologize. It's been some late hours around here lately trying to get SkyView ready!

How's that for customer responsiveness!?
