peak G meter time resolution (D180)

Is there a specification for the minimum time required for the peak G force to register correctly in the D180? Specifically, I am looking for a way to measure the maximum force during landing.

I don't know the exact filter off the top of my head, but it is filtered some, so it won't work for that application.

I guess it is back to the old mechanical gauge then.
If the filter is a simple one pole (RC like) filter, it would be nice to publish the time constant.
