Percent Power calculation dropping out

I recently did my first start, ran it three times, and in reviewing the log data I notice that the percent power calculation comes and goes. Sometimes a value is there, and it appears consistent with reality when it's present, but sometimes the value is missing entirely and shows up as blank. It comes and goes within the run, and I don't know why. Can you shed some light on this? I have the log file to upload to you if you would like to see it.

I assume you were at lower powers? It only operates at about 15% power and above. If I remember there is also an RPM threshold. If it ever showed up, it's configured correctly and will work in flight.

Yes, this was on first start and was consistently in the 10%-15% power region. It calculated and displayed values ranging from 2 to 20 percent when it was displayed, but was sporadic about displaying them - and no, I did not have a steady RPM for this run, so I'll put this problem on the shelf for now until I can run it some more and play with it.

Thanks,

If any fuel flow or manifold pressure were grossly misreading, that could cause the calculation to be dramatically wrong, which under some circumstances may be inhibited. Ditto for the horsepower setting in setup.

Does that apply to both the Skyview and D1## series products?

I see %power on mine all the time, right down to zero percent when the throttle is closed.

The D10/D100 might have slightly different display rules that don't chop it at lower power settings. It's the same algorithm fundamentally though.
