Pin #1 for voltage

Hi, I'm needing some help on sending the volts to the Skyview. I have a Volt meter but I would like to send the volt wire pin # 1 to the Skyview in a different place. Then if I blow a fuse in the volt meter, the other will still work. What do I wire the #1 pin to, what size fuse do I need for the 22 G wire and do I need a ground wire? I looked and looked but can't find the informatin in the manual.

You can connect the EMS D37p1 (or p2) to any source to measure the voltage at that point. Page 7-29 of the install manual. I installed a 1A fuse to protect the 22 AWG wire.
