Can Pins 36 and 37 be used for a K type thermocouple (the manual says "general purpose TC")?

If so...I assume that the red wire from the K type thermocoupler need to got the the pin 36 and the black wire to pin 37??!?!?

I wish to use this K type TC to read engine inlet temperature downstream of the turbocharger intercooler so the temp range will be between 0F and 300F
