I want to feed my IFLY 720 into my HS34 so the GPS course will be displayed on the D100 HSI.  It appears pin 3 (the picture below is from the IFLY website showing the IFLY pinouts) is the transmit pin from the IFLY.  Do I connect the IFLY pin 3 to the HS34 pin 1 on the HS34?  ( I have HS34 pins 2 and 15 currently connected to my SL30).  Thanks for the assistance.

Also, any suggestions as to what input and baud rate should be entered into the D100?

Yes, your serial interpretation is correct. What you set the HS34's serial port's baud rate to is entirely dependent on the transmission baud rate on the IFLY. But I'd wager 80% that it's 9600 on that end (and may be configurable). Configured this way, since you have the serial port going to the HS34, the settings you want to make sure are correct are under SETUP > HSI > HS34 > SERIAL > then serial port 1. When you have your device going to the HS34, you leave the local data port settings alone since the serial communications are not going to the D100 directly.
