Placement of ADAHRS module

The manufacturer of my newly delivered aircraft has installed the backup battery on top of the ADAHRS-200 module behind one of the 10' SkyView screens. The installation guide recommends that "The location should be magnetically benign". It seems to me that locating the ADAHRS module in close proximity to the backup battery, EMS module, screens, radio, transponder and intercom may not be "magnetically benign". Is there a risk that this location may cause erroneous indications?

That is definitely not an OK place for the ADAHRS. The battery is far from being magnetically clean, and will cause lots of issues. Also, as you guessed, the ADAHRS can't be in a panel if you want it to work well, given all of the other equipment, so a relocation is probably in order.

Real estate is at a premium in a Cozy Mark 4. My ADHARS is less than one foot from my transponder antenna. Otherwise, a magnetically benign area. OK-Not OK?

Might be OK, but a foot is close. You'll need to test it to be sure.
