I have the 10''and 7'' installed in my RV7, looks fantastic. I cannot get both units to power up together. both are connected to 12v via an EXPbus. the 10'' is also connected to the battery back up but I have not brought the bat back up for the 7''. after many hours of trouble shooting I found that connecting the bat back up to the 7'' resolved the issue with it so now I have 7 working and not the 10. I know I am an Aussie but Am I going mad here or is there something I am missing.
Cheers

Maybe the SV's are just seeing backup battery power ?

Have you checked that you are actually getting 12v at the SV ?

I have pm'd you.

Hugh,

What are you using as power for the system? Are you using an fully charged aircraft or car battery, or some sort of power supply? If you are using a power supply can it produce a solid 10amps or more at about 14VDC? These screens take a bit of current to wake up and come to life, those bright screens need some juice. So unless you have sufficient watts to light it all up, you will see issues trying to get both units fired up. Also, don't count on a battery charger as a power supply, they are not as strong as their labels claim. I suggest you make sure you have adequate power before you waste a lot of time trouble shooting your systems.

Best Regards,

Good advice. I think I am chasing my tail. I have both screens working independently and have now loaded new software. the 10 does not see the EMS or ADAHRS but 7 does. Running out of time as heading to Osh. Will get back to some logical fault finding when back home in three weeks. Can't be this hard. ::)

Cheers
